Exceptional Learning Solutions opened its doors in 2012. Since that time, Sherry has worked with nearly sixty students from first graders through twelfth graders on a wide range of academic skills and subject areas. Some of these students had been diagnosed with dyslexia or ADHD. Some were dealing with math anxiety. Some struggled with homework completion or how to study for a test. Many had lost faith in themselves as students.
As an educational therapist, Sherry not only helps students build academic skills and develop more effective learning strategies but also helps them recognize and work toward managing the feelings and behaviors that can interfere with their learning.
Sherry collaborates with educators and allied professionals—including speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, mental health counselors, and psychologists—who can further assist students in reaching their potential.
Through Exceptional Learning Solutions, Sherry continues to provide personalized educational therapy services for students in the Fort Wayne area and online.
